Agreement designates Afghanistan as major non-NATO ally

http://www.foreignpolicy.com/articles/2012/04/23/some_good_news_from_afghanistan

In a new agreement, the US guarantees indefinite support to Afghanistan in exchange for US military presence in Afghanistan. There will be negotiations about the number of troops allowed and what types of legal immunity they will have. The agreement allows for Obama and Karzai to form a better partnership that benefits them both, and will likely increase Afghan confidence in the future of the country. It could also encourage the Taliban to negotiate a settlement. Additionally, this agreement could change how Pakistan views the US for the better.

Iran a bigger threat to U.S. than North Korea

In a new International Poll 81% of people voted that Iran was a serious or moderate threat to the U.S. Three quarters of Americans said that North Korea poses a similar threat to the U.S. Also, that Iran would be more of a threat if they obtained nuclear weapons because it would destabilize the region.
